Welcome back,
In the video below we are talking about the single most important aspect of your current (or future) Real Estate Investing and Mobile Home Investing businesses.
We’re talking about Advertising Your Message.
The more mobile home owners and sellers you can get your message in front of the better.
Quality Vs. Quantity: Maximize your advertising budget to only target high priority sellers.
It is far better to spend the money on mailing 100 “I want to buy your mobile home” letters to receive 20 calls from motivated sellers than to send 1,000 letters to receive the same 20 calls. This is the difference between knowing where, how, and when to find your sellers VS. blindly mailing to everyone with a mobile home.

Main Bullets Points:
- Advertising for seller leads is the life force of your investing business
- Create a time budget for your business for the next 12 months (see below)
- Outline a money budget for your business for the next 12 months (see below)
Time Budget:
Make a 12 month plan. Advertising is best used on an on going basis. No one has ever gotten rich from 1 round of Advertising. Be conservative at making your Time Commitments. Make sure that you can stick to these Time Based Advertising activities every week. In a short while challenge yourself to increase this amount for more leads.
Money Budget:
How much money do you have to set aside for advertising purposes? What are FREE methods to Advertise locally? What are expensive ways to Advertise locally? Using common sense and following the MHDMF will give you the ability to Advertise your message inexpensively at first, then once you have made a Profit you can start spending more money to REV-UP your lead generating business.
Love what you do daily,
John Fedro

March 7, 2013This is accurate and great material for new and experienced investors. A personally like using road signs to advertise business as they are cheap and fun to hang. I/m going to sign up for your newsletter now too.

March 8, 2013Hi Steve,
Yard signs or bandit signs are good. In some areas the city may fine you so watch out when you hang these signs. However, you are right that in many areas they are inexpensive and work good.
All the best,
John

Great advice John. This came to me at the right time as I have been wanting to sit down and really make a well thought out plan for advertising and marketing to my city of Springfield. Any help would be appreciated. In response to my favorite advertising method iI really like getting out of the house and knocking on the doors of foreclosures and other sellers.
Love and smiles,

March 9, 2013Hi Lonnie,
It’s always great to know your plans in detail than to rather throw it to the wind and spend money without thought. Think of A.) your top marketing strategies, B.) the time you have to invest in these strategies, and C.) the money you wish to invest.
Commit a budget and do it. Spend wisely and try to utilize grass roots methods.
I commend you on your love of knocking on doors. You’re on of the few my friend. This can be a great strategy for some types of mobile homes for sale.
Best,
John Fedro

April 19, 2013I find the old bandit signs work well for my area/presumed demographic. I live in a small town in the Midwest, and community bulletins at cafes and student unions/frat houses are the still the best way to get the word out. Then there’s word of mouth, too. I ask business owners whom I support to return the love and they’re typically very cooperative. There’s also public access, if you’ve got it in your neck of the woods. Free and very effective.

April 21, 2013Hi Jackson,
I really like your public access idea. A while ago I saw a real estate investor’s Saturday morning public access show and thought it was interesting while it lasted. Perhaps something like this adapted for home owner empowerment could be something in demand in many areas. Good suggestions all around.
Best,
John
