MHI Lesson 2: Loving Your Customers With Guest Investor Val P.

Welcome back,

On this week’s episode of the Mobile Home Investing Podcast episode #2 I am eager to welcome a guest who has exploded her business in the past few months by making a series of changes in mindset and in daily action.

Val is an active investor in Pennsylvania that specializes in helping sellers and buyers looking for anything mobile home related. She has correctly positioned herself as a go-to authority in her area. This correct positioning did not happen by accident.

Val agreed to spend 14 minutes with us on this week’s podcast describing her mindset about “caring for customers” that has allowed her to convert word of mouth advertising into incredible returns with mobile homes.

In This show John and Val cover:

  • ⭐ Val opens up about her past deals!
  • Walking the walk, and talking the talk.
  • ⭐ How caring for others has made an impact on both our careers?
  • ⭐ Investing with less anxiety.
  • ⭐ What to do if you are under-cut by another buyer?
  • ⭐ People don’t care about what you know, when they see how much you care.
  • ⭐ and much more!

    Hi John,

I like your mindset of helping others. I can see how it would also take press off of me when making calls. Do you find that people take advantage of you when you are too nice?

    Cheers!
    Collin

      Hi Collin,

Thanks for the kind words. This is the mindset that should permeate everything you do. Yes, this mindset of educating others and helping others will help to reduce stress and anxiety.. I know it did for me. Good question about being too nice and being taken advantage of. There has to be 2 sides of your brain, one that is the business side and will never do a bad deal, and the other side that genuinely wants sellers to get as much as they can for their home. This is more than just talking, but actually helping a seller and buyer as best you can, whether you close a deal or not. This is the bets word of mouth advertising you can get.

      Hope this makes sense.

      Talk soon,
      John
